les Jardins de Cadiot

Inspired gardens

A true invite to a calm place where you are free to daydream, the Jardins de Cadiot, located on the hills of Carlux, in between Souillac and Sarlat, will enchant you by their softness. The gardens were created in the 80’s by Anne-Marie, who is passionate about botany and Bernard who is mad about architecture and sculptures. These « Inspired gardens » as they are often called, are arranged into 10 different themes that can be visited during a romantic walk through the gardens.

A walk of the senses

Classed as « Remarkable Gardens », the Jardins de Cadiot offer you a truly extraordinary trip throughout different universes, which are all full of surprises !

In that respect :

The vegetable garden and the orchard invite you to pick some fruit and vegetables

– There are peonies and the rosebeds to smell

The maze to get lost in

The poetrygarden to read and to meditate in

The wild garden and the chamber of the Sphynx to dream in

The english garden to contemplate in

Modernity and Romance

Joining modernity and romance, cartesian shaping of the plants and poems, art and nature, Les Jardins de Cadiot charm visitors from May all the way through the season until September.

All of this is done in total respect of biodiversity and Nature, as the owners of these gardens make sure that all the plants are cultivated without the use of chemical products and are chosen to attract pollinating insects.
